Born on 10th January 1950 at Ludhiana (Punjab), now based in Patiala. Studied for Botany honours school at Punjab University Chandigarh, but later persued fine arts and did her Masters in Fine Arts with Gold Medal from Dehradun in 1985. She has held one solo show and several group shows and has participated in many national level art workshops. Her work was selected and displayed at the Hangue Global Child Labour Conference, Mobile Global exhibition ‘Hope for Child Labour’, Netherlands in May. 2010. She retired as a lecturer in Fine Arts in 2010.
