Differently Abled Women & Children
Skill development and
utility Handcrafted product making program for differently abled women, rape
victims and underprivileged children in Delhi’s biggest slum are “Sunder
Nagri” with the support of Messe Frankfurt, Germany.
Through this workshop
we taught them how to create various utility product for our daily use and
gifting purpose, so that they can such handicraft and be self sufficient.
Kalakriti Foundation has introduce several methods and material and with the
technical knowhow to all these students to create such handcrafted utility
products through which they earn money start developing their client in
the open market.
Through this extensive one and a half month we have used various kinds of techniques and medium to create various Handicrafts such as:
1. Drawing and Painting,
2. Clay Modeling,
3. Papier Mache Utility Products,
4. Candle Making,
5. Screen Printing,
6. Lamps,
7. Tea Light Candle Stands,
8. Textile Printing etc.
After creating these products they have been displayed at the Handicraft Exhibition at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, where they got very good response as well as some business to take it further.
